My thoughts:  I don't read many self help books, mainly because I have determined that life is too short for boredom. Connie does not bore me, in fact I find myself enjoying every word she puts on the page.

Her writing style is quick and full of whit. She brings the challenges faced by women into practical and doable situations. She helps me to determine what is important, and mostly that I am important. Being a wife and a mother is hard. She uses her life situations to illustrate that point, and show joy and humor in motherhood.

She adds many real life situations, a grandmother who wants to clean up her yard but unexpectedly is watching grandchildren.  Why not have them help and have a fun activity?  A child who tells her mother to smile more.  People doing good works and still living productive family lives.  This book is full of situations that will bring a smile to your face and a realization that you can do it!

She is a former TV and radio host for Bonneville Communications, and columnist for Deseret News and Utah Valley Magazine.
