Splash Into Summer Blog Hop (Intl)

Thanks I am a Reader, Not a Writer and Page Turners Blog for hosting this giveaway.

Today is the last day of school. Since I work for the school district it is also the start of my summer. I GET to have three months at home with my kids. (Not sure if it's a blessing or a curse!)

To start the summer, I will be letting the winner choose the book that they want to read this summer. There will be one winner who will win a choice of an Amazon Gift Code or a book from the Book Depository up to $15.00 (US currency).

Giveaway Policy

Change in Review Policy effective 7/24/12

Dear Authors,

I wish that I could accept every review request. The fact is, at this time, I am inundated with requests and I am behind on reviews. I will not be taking requests from new Author's at this time. However, if you are open to a promotional post, I will be happy to consider your request. I am open to excerpts and guest posts to help you get the word out about your book.

If I have reviewed your books before, you may contact me with a request.

To all of the author's that I have accepted your request. I will read and review your book. It will probably not be in the timely manner that I had hoped for. Unfortunately, life happens. It doesn't always go as planned. I apologize not completing it in the time frame that I indicated.

When I have begun to catch up with my current obligations, I will reconsider accepting taking requests from new authors.

Reviews (More of a recommend-ation really) - Disclosure statement

I get my books from a variety of locations. I buy them, I win them in contests on Goodreads, Library Thing, or other blog giveaways . I check them out from the library. I may also get them to review from publishers or authors. I take each book, and decide if I like it, based on the book, not the location from which it is recieved. I will be honest in my reviews, and only recommend books on their quaility and content.

I am not paid to review, I do it because I love reading. I also like to pass on good books to my friends.
